My Experience

For the past ten years, I have been refining my skills as a home decor seamstress, decorative painter and residential designer.  From 2000 - 2002, I worked at Casabella. Here, I gained home decor store front experience and exposure to the interior design studio.  The atmosphere of creativity fed my passions for mixing old with new, updating heirlooms, repurposing textiles, mixing fabrics and textures, utilizing paint and painting techniques to transform a space and working with wallpaper in innovative ways.

When Casabella closed it's doors, I was fortunate enough to begin working for myself.  Due to Casabella's relationships, I was able to build a small business through referrals. Today, I continue to transform rooms.  Sometimes it is as easy as redefining a room's footprint and bringing in accessories. And, other rooms may require a complete transformation from floor to ceiling and furniture between.

Personally, I have been renovating my 100 year old family home. I have gained invaluable experience working with contractors, some of which I continue to work with professionally. I have a solid understanding of the steps of remodeling and things to think about before the drywall is back up.

I look forward to sharing my experience with you.
